Marketplace
Three ways to sell your cart
Pick how much of the sale you want to handle yourself. All three put your cart in front of buyers across the Flathead Valley.
Standard listing
Free
You publish your own number
- Your cart on the marketplace for 60 days, at no cost
- Buyers call or text you directly
- You handle every enquiry and the whole sale
- You keep the full sale price
Best if you do not mind fielding calls and want to handle your own sale.
Screened contact
$25
Jared filters the buyers, your number stays private
- Your ad runs for 90 days, not 60
- Your phone number never appears on the ad
- Buyers send questions through the listing
- Jared answers the repetitive cart questions for you
- He introduces you only to the serious ones
- You still run the sale and keep the full price
Best if you want the reach without your number on the internet.
Full consignment
Agreed fee
Jared runs the whole sale
- Your ad stays up until the cart sells, with no expiry date
- Jared fields every call and does the negotiating
- He knows what these carts are actually worth
- Can handle the cart physically if you want it out of your way
- You get the sale price minus the agreed service fee
Best if you want it gone without dealing with any of it.
Why screening is worth something
Selling a cart privately means answering the same five questions fifty times, and a share of the people asking are not going to buy anything. Jared already knows what to ask and what these carts are worth, so he can tell a real buyer from a tyre kicker in about two minutes. You get handed the ones worth your Saturday.
Common questions
- How much does it cost to list a golf cart?
- A standard listing is free and runs for 60 days. Screened contact is $25: your number stays private, Jared filters the buyers, and the ad runs for 90 days. Consignment is priced separately as an agreed percentage of the sale, worked out with Jared before the cart goes live, and it stays up until the cart sells.
- Do I have to put my phone number on the listing?
- No. That is the point of screened contact. Buyers send their questions through the listing, Jared works out who is serious, and only then does he introduce you. Your number never appears publicly.
- What is the difference between screened contact and consignment?
- Screened contact means Jared filters the enquiries and hands you the good ones, but you still run the sale. Consignment means Jared runs the whole thing including the negotiating, and you get the sale price minus an agreed fee.
- How long does a listing stay up?
- 60 days on a free listing and 90 on a paid one. A consignment stays up until the cart sells. If it sells sooner, let Jared know and he will mark it sold.
