Yes, I am the Golf Cart Guy

JR's Carts and Cuts started the way these things usually do. Jared fixed things for people who knew he could fix things, and eventually there were enough of those people that it became the job. Carts for the golf carts, cuts for the mowers. Carts have taken over most of the calendar since.

Why mobile

There is no shop you can drive to, and that is deliberate. A golf cart is an annoying thing to transport. Most people do not own a trailer, and the ones who do would rather not spend a Saturday loading up to bring it in and doing it again to take it home.

So the tools come to the cart instead. Jared carries motor components, controllers, fuel system parts and electrical stock, which means most of what he gets called out for is fixed in your driveway on the first visit. When a job genuinely needs more than that, he is fully insured and will trailer the cart, do the work properly, and bring it back.

What he works on

All makes and models is not marketing copy in this case. Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha, gas, electric, lead acid, lithium. Carts from the eighties that somebody's grandfather bought new, and carts that came off the lot last season.

Lithium conversions have become a big part of the work. JR's is an authorised dealer for both Bolt Energy USA and BATTLite and does full conversions rather than half measures.

How he works

Do the job right and tell people the truth about what their cart needs. He will tell you when something is not worth fixing, and when a lithium conversion does not make sense for how you use the cart. He would rather lose a sale than sell somebody something they did not need, because this valley is small and your neighbors ask you about people.

That is also why the tools on this site are free and do not ask for your email. Most of them answer questions he would otherwise answer on the phone for nothing anyway.
