Fall Service Booking Is Open

A row of golf carts parked under an open sided storage barn.

Season is winding down, so the fall calendar is open. If you want a say in when your cart gets done, now is the time to call.

What is available

Whitefish Lake Golf Club cart barn package. For electric cart owners with a space in the barn. $125 total, billed in two parts, $50 for the winterization and $75 for the spring tune up. End of season winterization now, spring tune up in the spring, and the charger reset once a month through the winter in between.

That monthly reset is the part that actually matters and the part nobody does themselves.

Standard winterization, anywhere in the valley. Same idea without the barn. I come to the cart. Battery service, cable check and clean, tire pressure, greasing, and getting it set up properly for storage.

Gas cart winterization. Different job. Fuel stabilised and run through the carburetor or drained properly, oil changed going in rather than coming out, plug checked. Fuel left sitting in a carb over a Montana winter is the number one cause of spring no-starts and it is entirely preventable.

Mower work. This is the season for it. Engine work, overhauls and rebuild projects all get scheduled through fall and winter, outside peak cart season. If you have a zero turn that needs real work, autumn is when to book it.

Timing

The window between "done using it" and "properly cold" is about four weeks around here, and everybody wants the same four weeks. October gets busy fast, and the cart barn gets busiest of all because those all need doing in the same stretch.

Booking now costs nothing and means you get a slot that suits you.

If you would rather do it yourself

That is fine, and the guides are on the site. There is a full winterization checklist for electric carts and a separate one for gas, both written for our conditions rather than somewhere that does not freeze.

The one thing I will say: whatever else you skip, put the cart away charged. A fully charged lead acid battery will not freeze. A flat one will, and that damage does not come back in April.

Booking

Call or text 406.270.9346. Tell me where the cart is, whether it is gas or electric, and if it is in the Whitefish barn mention that and I will get you on the package.

Thanks for a busy season.

Got a cart question?

Call or text Jared. He would rather talk it through than have you guess at it.
